Computer engineer turned acupuncturist, Paikea is a radical modern healer. She lifted herself out of many ailments and adversities (Lyme, chronic pain, candida, heavy metal toxicity, complex PTSD and ancestral trauma), and has gathered the best tools and wisdom to offer. She practices fascia and scalp acupuncture, which are new and remarkable for chronic pain (back, neck, knees, jaws). She offers Regenerative Medicine (cellular/mitochondria tools like peptides), which works better than Functional Medicine, for chronic inflammation and immune dysregulation. Immune dysregulation underpins many conditions from autoimmune (allergy, asthma, Hashimoto thyroiditis, psoriasis...), to Lyme, mold toxicity, Long Covid, to cancer and neurodegenerative conditions, to even mental health and inability to lose weight. So together, Regenerative Medicine, acupuncture and other holistic tools will address the root cause quickly, and unclog your "infrastructure" to restore homeostasis. Paikea will listen deeply, and support your health journey effectively.

Paikea also teaches workshop on Foraging plants, Ancestral trauma healing. Check out the events page.
A more personal story:
I grew up in China and came to the States when I was 25. I earned two Masters degrees in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering, and was a competent Software Engineer. But in 2013 I let go of all possessions and travelled in an old RV from 2013-2015. The nomadic life and nature immersion peeled into layers of Social Anxiety and Complex PTSD. My life purpose crystalized, which is to love myself then love others, through healing arts and leading people back to Mother Earth.
After those "dark nights of the soul" I've journeyed so, so far, so much exploration of the wilderness within and without. I've travelled the world and learned from traditional healers (Thailand, Peru, Guatemala, Colombia). I thank the Earthskill elders and community all around United States, for teaching me nature knowledge and ancestral living skills. I used to be a loner, now I love myself so much that it overflows to others, and I'm celebrated by friends and community. Together we amplify the good and co-create solutions.
I believe for a modern person, true health requires three right relations: 1) Intimacy with the natural world. 2) Intimacy with your "inner wilderness" - explore and unload the personal, societal, and ancestral trauma that we all carry. 3) Finding authentic community to recover - and play - with.
I no longer live in a van, but is still "down by the river" in rural Kentucky - a cabin on friend's 400 acres intentional community. I continue to align my work and relation with my purpose of "serving people and Earth": I teach plants, practice acupuncture with regenerative tools, organize rewilding conferences. It's been a hero's journey - Come heal, laugh, and feel alive with me! https://www.Paikea.Love/events
